I'm ready for my close up!

My friend from school, Chelsea Johnson, has a wonderful talent in taking pictures. It has been awhile since we've had family pictures so I thought this year for Christmas we would pay for family pictures for my family. She did a wonderful job and we all think they turned out great! Say It....Say It...OUT LOUD!

About three things I am absolutely positive:

First, Twilight is a series of books about falling in love with a vampire.

Second, there is a part of me, and I'm not sure how dominant that part might be- that thirsts for more.

Third, I am unconditionally and irrevocably in love with the Twilight Saga.

It's true I am a Twihard! I got sick the week before halloween and watched the movie Twilight finally. Initially I thought it was a pointless movie but it left me so confused so I thought with my mini vacation from school (aka illness) I would pass the time by reading the book. Books are always better than the movie, right? Which proved to be true and now I am part of the fandamoneum! I finished all the books in a matter of a couple weeks which was a little difficult considering I had to focus on school too. It wasn't a complete waste of time though because it reminded me how much fun reading can be if you have the right book.

Getting old is for the birds!

Bestafar celebrated his 90th birthday on Oct. 16th but the party was this sunday Nov. 1st. Marilyn hosted it at her house and he had a thrown and everything to sit on! He truly has had the life of a king.

All Hallow's Eve

This year for halloween we went to a party at Mikey's cousin Traci's house. We hung out with the family, chowed down on some chilli, took the little children around for some candy and then went to The POINT After for Traci's birthday bash. Our costume was Burt's Bees: Mikey was Burt the Bee Keeper and I was a Bee of course.

Calling all WiTcHEs

Witches Night Out was this weekend and a few of the girls from school got together to go. I was a little sad that Veda and Karley couldn't go since we all went together last year but we had a great time. We saw Vampires and a variety of witches. It was completely packed with people but it was really fun! I even scored a giant flower for my bee costume at a discount although the store didn't believe me that there was no stem and dug through the flower bins just to make sure. Oh well it was an entertaining experience. There was also a great yarn shop and I really can't wait to be done with school so I can take up knitting and actually knit more than a scarf!

Xfearience

Sophie had a hair show tonight which was quite the Xfearience! Her team got 2nd place and their model looked awesome! It was really fun cause it was halloween themed and I love me some halloween. Here are some pics to prove it!

A Name and a blessing

This weekend we ventured up to Pocatello to be present at Jaxon Caldera's baby blessing. We really have missed Sharen and Memo since both of us moved from Boise. It was so nice to see them and meet the newest member of their family. He looks like a mini Memo. Sharen bore her testimony after the blessing and I was holding Jaxon while he was sleeping and when she was speaking about him he was smiling. It was such a warm fuzzy feeling moment.
